Esta iniciativa visou "a criação de murais colectivos e individuais, valorizando espaços públicos, muitos deles abandonados."

This initiative aimed "the criation of colective and individual murals, enriching the public spaces, many of them abandoned."

Mobilidade urbana Sustentável – PSP de Mirandela patrulha a cidade de bicicleta | Sustainable urban mobility - PSP Bragança patrol the city by bike

Mais uma boa iniciativa de mobilidade urbana sustentável vai ser posta em prática no nosso país, desta vez pela Polícia de Segurança Pública de Mirandela.

Another good initiative for sustainable urban mobility will be implemented in our country, this time by the Public security police of Bragança.

Esta cidade vai ter, a partir de amanhã (26 de julho),  três agentes com as suas bicicletas a vigiar as suas ruas durante todo o ano.

This city will have, starting tomorrow (July 26), three agents with their bikes watching its streets throughout the year.

Esta iniciativa realiza-se entre a câmara local e a sua polícia e terá como principais objetivos, reforçar o patrulhamento de proximidade e reduzir os custos com os automóveis e os seus combustíveis. Vai contribuir também para diminuir as emissões de gases poluentes e de ruído e incentivar e mostrar à população que é possível substituir, em alguns casos, os automóveis por bicicletas.

This initiative is between the local council and its police and will have as its main objectives, strengthen patrolling proximity and reduce costs with cars and their fuels. Will also help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and noise and encourage and show the public that it is possible to replace, in some cases, cars for bicycles.

Esta iniciativa aproxima a polícia da população e contribui para um ambiente mais saudável e para a adopção de boas práticas de mobilidade.

This initiative brings the police of the population and contributes to a healthier environment and the adoption of best practices in mobility.

Uma iniciativa de duas arquitetas na cidade brasileira de Fortaleza vêm chamando a atenção da população local e turistas: o Parklet!

Algumas pequenas e simples intervenções nas vias públicas buscam estimular a presença das pessoas nas ruas e tornar os espaços públicos exteriores mais vivenciados e seguros. "A ideia é tornar as ruas mais amigáveis, ativando a recreação, o comércio local e restringindo o espaço dos automóveis nas cidades." afirma o site do projeto Estar Urbano que pode ser conferido no link: http://www.estarurbano.com.br/

São diversas as formas utilizadas para atrair as pessoas ao local, indo desde apresentação de um pianista ao pôr do sol a oficinas de origami. Sem falar que à vista para o mar já vale a visita! 

 O Projeto REurb parabeniza esta iniciativa do Estar Urbano que serve de incentivo e ótimo exemplo à todos urbanistas e gestores públicos. 

An initiative of two architects in the Brazilian city of Fortaleza are getting attention from the local population and tourists: the Parklet! 

Some small and simple interventions on public roads seek to encourage the presence of people in the streets and make them more experienced and safe outdoor public spaces. There are several ways used to attract people to the site, from presentation of a pianist at sunset until origami workshops. Not to mention the ocean view is worth the visit!

The REurb Project congratulates the initiative of Urban Living that serves great encouragement and example to all planners and public administrators.

Em Lisboa voltaram a utilizar-se os vidrões mais antigos, para depósito de vidros. 
In Lisbon we are using the old bottle banks to put the bottles and all the glass.

O Gabinete de Arte Urbana tem organizado várias edições do Concurso "Reciclar o Olhar", onde cada cidadão pode concorrer para pintar e personalizar um vidrão. Este mês terminaram as últimas intervenções.

The Urban Art Office organizes several editions of the competition "Recicle the look", where every citizen can participate to paint and personalize an old bottle bank. The lastest interventions occurred this month.

A rua Miguel Bombarda no Porto é conhecida pelas suas galerias de arte e à sua volta foram nascendo pequenos negócios ligados ao mundo das artes e da criatividade criando-se um núcleo cultural.
Seis vezes por ano, sempre ao sábado, são inauguradas nas galerias de arte desta área, exposições de novos artistas plásticos nacionais e internacionais. Estes eventos atraem a população e aliaram-se também lojas que lançam novos produtos nestes dias.
As ruas são invadidas por intervenções artísticas, concertos e colocam a cidade do Porto no mapa de eventos culturais e dinamizadores.
As próximas serão dia 20 de Setembro!


Miguel Bombarda Street in Porto is known for its art galleries and around it small businesses connected to the art and creativity world blossomed creating a cultural center.
Six times a year, always on a saturday, exhibitions of new national and international artists open. These events attract the people and some of the shops around launch new products.
These streets are invaded with artistic interventions, concerts and put Porto on the cultural and dynamic events map.

Intervenção urbana, interacção social | Urban intervention, social interaction

Com pequenas intervenções é possível dinamizar o espaço urbano, tornando-o mais aprazível e socialmente mais activo.
É exemplo disso a iniciativa do grupo Basurama na cidade de São Paulo.


The urban space could be dinamize with small interventions, became more atractive and socially active.

Veículos elétricos – Mobilidade Urbana sustentável | Electric Vehicles - Sustainable Urban Mobility

São cada vez mais os alertas, feitos por diversas entidades, para a necessidade de alterar algumas políticas de cidade e hábitos de vida, sobretudo em matéria de mobilidade urbana.

Neste domínio, alguns governos (através de boas políticas locais) tem incentivado a utilização dos transportes públicos, da bicicleta e da caminhada e a substituição dos automóveis movidos com combustiveis fosseis por outros elétricos.

Como consequência estes tem vindo a aumentar gradualmente em muitas cidades. Na Europa já foram vendidos mais de 57 mil veículos. A Noruega (por isentar estes veículos de imposto de circulação e possibilidade de circulação nas faixas de autocarros) foi o País que mais carros adquiriu (cerca de 8%).

Estes veículos apresentam como principal vantagem o facto de contribuirem para combater as alterações climáticas, uma vez que não poluem.
